Oluwatosin Esther Obafunsho is research fellow at the Forestry Research Institute Nigeria (FRIN). She has a background in Agricultural Extension and Rural Development and focuses on mainstreaming gender in all her research activities. Her main goal is to ensure improved livelihoods of rural dwellers by promoting gender-balanced, resource-providing, eco-friendly agricultural practices. Her research extends to making visible the institutional arrangements emerging from practices of food and agroforestry systems. In recent times, her work explores relations between technology/innovation and social change, with critical analysis of how these play out in socially differentiated rural communities.
