Sanja Tarczay

Dr Sanja Tarczay is a deafblind woman, the founder and current president of the Croatian Deafblind Association ‘Dodir’. Since 2008, she has been the head of the Deafblindness Internship at the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences and a lecturer in sign language at the University of Applied Health Studies at the University of Zagreb. She is also the President of the World Federation of the Deafblind (WFDB) since October 2022 and an active member of the OPD Steering Group of the International Disability and Development Consortium (IDDC).
