Various conferences are reported on in January: The African Union's special summit on the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Program (CAADP) took place in Kampala, Uganda. The adopted Kampala Agenda aims to make the continents agricultural and food systems climate-resilient, fair and sustainable by 2035.
At this years’ German Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA), the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) focused on the topic of bioeconomy. Alongside the event, the German State Secretary of the BMZ, Jochen Flasbarth, and Mologadi Madisha, Founder of MOGAN BL Farming South Africa, dive into the big questions facing agriculture and food systems. im Januar wird von verschiedenen Konferenzen berichtet: Der Sondergipfel der Afrikanischen Union zum Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Program (CAADP) fand in Kampala (Uganda) statt. Die verabschiedete Kampala-Agenda zielt darauf ab, die Agrar- und Ernährungssysteme des Kontinents bis 2035 klimaresistent, fair und zukunftsfähig zu machen.
Das Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ) diskutierte beim diesjährigen German Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA) das Thema Bioökonomie. Am Rande der Veranstaltung sprachen der Staatssekretär des BMZ, Jochen Flasbarth, und Mologadi Madisha, Gründerin von MOGAN BL Farming Südafrika, über die großen Fragen der Agrar- und Ernährungssysteme von Morgen – nachzuhören im Podcast.
