With the right know-how and innovative approaches, possibilities turn practical – as shown by three examples from the African continent.

Farmers in Cameroon and Burkina Faso are using virtual reality technologies to impart knowledge about cotton cultivation. Felix Phiri, Head of the Nutrition Department at the Ministry of Health in Malawi, looks back on two decades of agricultural policy and emphasizes good governance. The RUNRES project at ETH Zurich is researching circular economy solutions with the goal of recycling organic waste sustainably.

Landwirt*innen in Kamerun und Burkina Faso machen sich Virtual Reality Technologien zu Nutze, um Wissen zum Baumwollanbau zu vermitteln.
