Dear Readers,

This time spotlighted: The topic of power generation. Authors from the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems report on the promising combination of photovoltaics and agricultural production. At the same time, Hussein Tadicha Wario, executive director of the Center for Research and Development in Drylands, explains why the global rush for green electricity should not undermine the rights of pastoralist communities.
